A small autumn adventure

Hello, our friends)
My name is Julie and I would like to tell you about our little trip to Moscow on our holidays with our class.
On our holidays our class went to Moscow and that was amazing. First, we went to Pushkin's museum and learn more about Pushkin's life there. After that we went to the museum of the East and felt like we went to Japan, China, India and Korea.
And what did you do on your holidays? Did you like it or not?
Bye, Julie.

Happy Turkey Day!

Hello our American friends! Happy Thanksgiving day! We hope you're having a good time with your families. Eat a lot and have fun! And we have a question about this great festival: we wonder do Indians celebrate Thansgiving day. As we know, Indians played an important role in the American history and in history of this holiday.

About one of the greatest museums in the world

Hi! My name is Nastya. I really want to go to St. Petersburg because in this northern Russian city there are many beautiful monuments. But now I want to tell you about one of them. This is the Hermitage. It’s one of the world-wide known museums. You can see a lot of fantastic pictures and sculptures from different places of the planet. I think that the most beautiful is the Hall of Leonardo da Vinci. The hall is decorated in the style of 17 century French Baroque. The Hermitage possesses two masterpieces of Leonardo. The Rembrandt collection is one of the most treasured possessions of the museum.

Hold on, Japan!

Hi! My name is Anya. I love anime and I am fond of Japanese culture in general. I would really like to visit Japan and learn their language. Japan is a very beautiful country with its centuries of history, interesting traditions and cool music. (By the way, what music do you listen?)Thousands of tourists come to see a great flowering of Japanese Sakura. Everybody knows about a terrible disaster in Japan. I worry about Japanese people and try to be in the know. It will be very interesting to hear your opinion about this catastrophe.

Have you heard about this sport?

Hi my name is Sasha. I want to tell you about my favourite sport - sambo. Sambo is a very popular martial art in Russia. The word "SAMBO" is an acronym for SAMooborona Bez Oruzhiya, which literally translates as "self-defense without weapons". In 16 November 1938, it was recognized as an official sport by the USSR All-Union Sports Committee. Intended to be a merger of the most effective techniques of other martial arts, Sambo has roots in Japanese judo and Karate. The founders of Sambo were Viktor Spiridonov, Anatoly Kharlampiev and Vasili Oshchepkov. It also popular in other countries. The world sambo championship is held every year.
